Urban House Limassol, 2010

The site is located in a densely populated area of the town and for this reason our design from the street appears as an adhoc arrangement of separate forms. This chosen geometric approach gives it a beach house like character where the house addresses the pool area while denying its connection to the street. The mass of its structure combined with careful landscaping and screening recreate the cooling courtyard quality of the old houses of Cyprus something that has been lost as a result of restrictive town planning requlations.
