Twins House, Yermasoyia, Limassol
This house is designed for a young family of 4 at the end of a cul de sac in a newly developed area of Limassol with due south orientation. Long overhangs shade and protect the building and the tower with openable skylights acts as a cooling shaft. The north elevation is protected by a stone wall pierced only to make the entrance. The south elevation is fully glazed towards the sea view. The 15m pool dominates the front garden while at the same time creates a micro-climate cooling the southwesterly prevailing summer winds.
