Mila house, Ayios Tychonas, 2012
This house on the outskirts of Limassol is designed for a young couple just starting a family. With the road and the entrance to the south the living and entertaining areas are placed on the north side of the plot enjoying the view of a small wooded stream. The long walk from the gate to the main entrance gives the visitor a feeling of a much larger house. The T shape plan protects the private areas of living, dining, pool and garden from the public road, the summer heat and the strong winds. The east of the house enjoys large openings, the south has long overhangs for deep shading and the west facade has just a few openings for ventilation.
