La Boca, Columbia Plaza, Limassol, 2009

This new concept, colourful, fast Italian restaurant is part of our design for the Columbia Plaza. Chefs behind glass counters prepare the menu while you wait and long high dining benches and stools create a communal dining experience. The steel and concrete structure is punctuated by Alexandra Hadjikyriacou`s 17m long mural with themes taken from the restaurant`s menu. Limed oak wide timber planks cover the floor and monitors on the walls show events, news and music videos. A shaded stoa outside provides the alfresco dining area. On the mezzanine level a more relaxed seating/dining area looks towards the pizza pasta factory that is manufacturing the fresh ingredients for the day`s menu.
