Columbia Retreat, Pissouri project under study
The involvement of our client in the hotel industry began with the running of an old existing hotel in Pissouri Bay which we renovated in 1987. 20 years later, after the completion and success of the second hotel in the bay, the Columbia Resort, adjoining land (110,000 sq.m.) was acquired for the development of a third hotel in order to focus on high quality conferences and corporate tourism. The design vocabulary of this new resort will compliment the existing buildings. The main building is surrounded by room villas and suites which all share unobstructed sea views. The project extends and dictates a new road network, a linear park along its north elevated boundaries, a sea front promenade and landscape gardens with a number of cascaded swimming pools. This new unit will have a further 300 beds to add to the 500 beds already existing in the other two hotels, Columbia Beach Hotel and Columbia Resort.
