Amathusia Penthouse, Limassol
This a case study of a proposal to connect two exiting mid 1970`s small apartments, that are enjoying a spectacular location and uninterrupted sea view into a spacious luxurious 4 bedroom apartment for a young family that do not want to relocate elsewhere. This is a common request nowadays and we have tried to demonstrate with our designs that such conversion will not be a compromise but a challenge to achieve excellence.
The main living, dining and kitchen areas share an open plan arrangement south facing towards the sea view. Secondary assisting rooms such as the laundry, pantry room and maids room sit at the back of the property and provide sound protection from the busy town road behind. The main challenge was to an adequate exterior living space by introducing a new steel structure balcony which cantilevers out from the building, bringing you even closer to the sea view.
